Our job isn't to make cybersecurity sound sophisticated.

Our job is to make it make sense. We give growing businesses the security capability they would otherwise have to hire for, explained in language their board can follow. We work primarily across Africa.

In a business of 20 to 200 staff, security usually belongs to whoever last fixed an IT problem. Tools get bought and never tuned, and the whole subject gets attention the week after something goes wrong. Most security vendors start at 500 users and skip this space, which is the one we built Olerin for.

Most security spending is hard to judge. You buy something, and the only feedback is that nothing has gone wrong yet. The assessment gives you your risks written down and ranked, along with the five changes that would make the biggest difference, so you work on those instead of the whole list. It is run by an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
